Guide to Evergro uses and Coverage
Rates
Uses
Although primarily developed to provide
reliable application of mulch onto topsoil in steep and difficult
terrain , Evergro has proved to be remarkably versatile.
By altering coverage rate ie applied mulch kg/ha, Evergro can
be an economical mulch to use on many broadacre applications ie
subdivisions, council parks , sports ovals, airport grass taxiways
and verges, Road and Rail corridors and mine site restoration.
Evergro can be a most useful tool to keep FUGITIVE
DUST TO A MINIMUM by providing immeadiate dust suppression
and encouraging the establishment of grass. This dust suppression
could be most helpful in situations such as mine haul road verges
and on major civil construction site including top soil stockpiles
where regulatory bodies such as E P A
are becoming more vigilant.
Coverage Guide
Areas where grass need establishment ie
sports ovals, subdivisions, council parks and airport grassing.
2500 kg/ha plus 37.5 kg/ha of modified guar
tackyfier
Areas where topsoil needs protection from
raindrop erosion . This can be Moderate degree of Gradient ie
1 : 3 cut and fill batters on construction sites or similar topsoiled
gradients.
3000 kg/ha to 4000 kg/ha plus 45 kg/ha to 60 kg/ha of modified
guar tackyfier
Areas in coastal aspects or where heavier
rain can be expected need heavier rates of applications.
Steeper terrain such as 1.5 to 1 cut and fill batters or similar
steeper, sites such as road side or rail side slips also require
a heavier mulch application.
Minimum of 4500 kg/ha plus 67.5 kg/ha of modified guar tackyfier
If deemed necessary to beef up the kg/ha of modified tackyfier
due to a combination of steep terrain and expected high rainfall
, there will be an extra cost for this performance enhancement.
