What
is Hydromulch?
Hydromulch
is the means by which mulch in the form of plant fibre can be placed
onto topsoil using water as a carrier.
It is industry practice to add Seed and fertiliser in with the mulch
. Their function is to achieve grass cover and encourage root development
in the topsoil so as to provide protection against rain drop erosion.
Product Evergro is supplied in a 20 kg bag and consists of a blend
of 75% Hammermilled Sugar Cane fibre and 25 % Recycled Newsprint.
To achieve adhesion to topsoil Tackyfier, based on a modified guar
product , is included in the bag .
